I love the 80s

as much as the next 30-something and that includes most (although definitely not all) of the music. Give me a bit of Depeche Mode, Beastie Boys, Duran Duran, INXS, Night Ranger any day. But I have to say I am sick to death of Bon Jovi's Livin' On A Prayer. Seriously, this morning I listened to it at least 5 times. At this point, I hope you are questioning my sanity, seriously why would anyone listen to that particular song over and over and over again?

And the simple answer is: little j. She likes rock. And she loves Bon Jovi. Now as someone who grew up listening to Bon Jovi who am I to dissuade her? But my god...it was fun for a while, but now it is nearly torturous. The only pleasure I am getting out of it is hearing her sing it loudly and getting the words a bit wrong ("we'll make it out square"). Love it!
