A recent dinner table conversation with little j:
Big J: "You don't have to play with someone who doesn't treat you nice."
little j: "She isn't nice at all. She yells at me."
Me: "There are lots of other people to play with. Just tell her that you don't like to be yelled at and go play with someone else."
little j: "Okay."
Me: "Besides, I'm sure there are lots of friends who would like to play with you."
little j: "Because I'm so beautiful?"
Well, I certainly couldn't argue with that!

That is the best thing I've ever heard! Reminds me of when I was little, remember. I'd get a compliment on my appearance, and instead of saying thank you, I would say "I know."
She is adorable. I love her.
