Earlier this season our garden was flourishing. Tomatoes were on in June, beans were plentiful, cucumber and zucchini looked better than ever. And then the heat wave came. Peas wilted, tomatoes stalled, radishes didn't do anything except seed out.
The past couple of years we've been out of town when everything is ready to pick, but not this year. And now this. Boo! Perhaps next week's cooler weather will help out, but today I pulled all the pea plants and radishes. We'll just have to see if the garden can be saved.
