Well, maybe not taste it...because can you really taste a completed dissertation? That's the problem with cliches, they often make absolutely no sense when you take them literally.
I met with my advisor today to go over my dissertation draft -- yes, I have some work to do. Yes, I have some thinking to do. But the good news is that she thought my coding and analysis was right on and well done. That means that chapter 4 is, with some minor editing, done! DONE! And even better, she said I could talk to my committee members about scheduling my defense! WOOOHOOO!
