The blackest day

If you thought yesterday was cold in Green Bay...well, today it's even colder following the overtime loss to the Giants. It's not secret that I am a Packer fan and, of course, a Brett Favre fan. I am feeling very sad for him today since the his very last play of the season was an interception which set up a 47 yard field goal for the Giants. It's going to be a long off -season, or perhaps a long retirement.

But the loss doesn't change my fervent support for the Pack or my near-worship of Brett. I'm convinced that the youngest team in the NFL will come back next year stronger. And regardless of the decision Brett makes, I'm all for it -- football's iron man deserves a break.
