A Happy Weekend

I haven't been particularly productive this weekend, which is just fine with me. I'm trying to finish up some grading while hanging out with a sick little j and watching a Harry Potter marathon. I also have a kitten sleeping on my lap, always a good thing.

I did get a new pair of Dansko sandals and another pair a little more work-appropriate that I've had my eyes on for a while. And since I've been so great about running outside lately I bought a couple new shirts that wick away moisture. We'll see how they work in the brutal humidity of VA.

Oh, speaking of Harry Potter, we've already bought our movie tickets for next Saturday. little j and I are super excited. Big J is looking forward to it, but not like we are.

I also did some minor work out in the yard. It's nice to be outside in the mornings and that makes me want to get up early, but then I remember that I get up early every day for work and then running on the weekend. The day seems so much longer when you get up early! Oh wait, it is longer.

On a final note, we are nearly done with the last season of Lost. We have five episodes left and we are both completely unclear how it could possibly end. I am hopeful that we will finish in the next couple of days. Of course I have grading and stuff to get done this week. Have I mentioned that I will be glad to be done teaching?
