Friday Random Thoughts

This has been a busy week -- still putting the finishing touches on my syllabi and getting ready to paint, carpet, and move into my new office.

I can hardly believe that I teach class beginning on Tuesday.

little j has had the best 2 weeks at horse camp. I'm really proud of her and amazed at how much her confidence has grown.

I love this time of year: new pencils, notebooks, school clothes, and shoes, leaves changing colors, the first smell of burning wood, apple harvest, cool mornings and evenings. Most people celebrate the new year on January 1, I celebrate on the first day of school!
