Lars and the Real Girl. I have been wanting to see this movie for quite some time and I was not disappointed. It is a quiet , understated film of courage and finding the ability to live within a community. Ryan Gosling plays Lars and I am tempted to say that he may be one of the finest actors of his generation. If you are looking for a movie that will have you laughing, crying, and thinking about the nature of love and friendship I encourage you to watch Lars and the Real Girl. (Plus, read this review by Kenneth Turan. He loved the movie, and he is hypercritical.)
