shooting myself in the foot

Why, oh why, did I not utilize my reference manager more? On the positive side of life, I turned in chapter 1. So all three chapters of my proposal are in. Today I am working on interview protocol and cleaning up my references. And I am not looking forward to cleaning up my references! When writing chapter 3 I was so good about making sure that every time I referenced it made it into the reference document. Not so with chapters 1 and 2, and now I must go back and figure out where everything came from. This will be the definition of tedium.

If all goes well today and tomorrow, I should have a date -- December 13 -- for my proposal defense. And then I just have to get my proposal to my committee by Friday. A busy and somewhat daunting week ahead, but I think it can be done!
