a dinner that was "excellent"
I would say that in 10 1/5 years of marriage and nearly 17 years of 'togetherness' Big J has said that dinner was excellent maybe five times. Maybe it's less. I doubt that it's more. And make no mistake, it was good . . . but the unsolicited "excellent" made it even better, and definitely worth the 2 hours in the kitchen.
