Well dear readers. I have been contemplating this for a while, but the time has come. I am closing down "That Girl." I've really enjoyed having the opportunity to air my thoughts, give unsolicited advice, be a little bitchy, and brag about the Js. I originally started the blog while I was in graduate school as a way to clear my head during the writing process. But lately I haven't had enough time to answer my emails, let alone keep up with a blog. I'm still going to keep up the cooking blog -- and hopefully I'll have more time for that.
One final thought before I go: I've been thinking a lot lately about the importance of tolerance. It is easy to say that we accept others, but is hard in practice. I struggle with this daily, but acknowledging the struggle is what keeps me going and working hard to be a better person.

My blogging has greatly decreased as well as I try to juggle different aspects of life. I will miss your posts but will have to see your cooking blog instead.
