I really, really dislike Sharon Stone as the new ADA. And it's not that I don't like tough women, because I do....I love Olivia, I liked Alex and Casey. But Sharon Stone's character is completely unlikeable. She's just too harsh.
Regarding the original L&O I just have to say that the story line of VanBuren's fight with cancer is heartbreaking. I know it isn't real life, but her battle with the disease coupled with her financial issues to pay for it is killing me, because I know that it probably happens with too many people in this country.

I liked that her character didn't scream "I'm Sharon Stone!" but the harsh bit is just too much, I agree.
