I am nearly done with grading and putting the final touches on my summer course syllabus. Perfect timing because The Girl Who Played With Fire arrived this week!
Speaking of, did I mention that I saw The Girl With the Dragon Tattoo? Amazing! I know they are making an American version, but if you have the chance to catch this Swedish film I highly recommend it. Noomi Rapace's riveting performance is wondrous!

Big J and I are celebrating our 14th anniversary, or, as we say, 13 great years!
I need to set some goals for the summer after my class is over. I'd really like to get a few key things done at work and at home.
I just heard that L&O is going to be canceled. Why do you hate me NBC?

I didn't realize they'd made that into a movie?! I want to read the book first...did you? Does it matter or are they stand-alones?
