Taking Time Out

I have a standing Thursday lunch date with Ms. P, one of my very good friends from grad school. With the events of tomorrow looming large I nearly canceled. But Ms. P had a job interview last week and we had a lot to catch up on. Not to mention that the weather is absolutely gorgeous. So, I took a break and walked across Grounds to have lunch. We sat in the sun, we had pretty good food, we had great conversation. It was nice to just take a few minutes, a few deep breaths, and enjoy time with a friend. And I plan on being very productive this afternoon.
