Friday Random Thoughts

When people talk about string theory I always think of string art. I'm quite sure they have nothing to do with each other.

I'm not super excited about the Olympics this year, but I was moved to tears by the story of Lopez Lomong, the U.S. flagbearer.

Another thing that proves I'm a big nerd: I'm excited to do factor analysis on a data file we received last week.

Big J opened up one of our bottles of Cabernet Franc last night . . . it was fabulous!

I'm in the mood for baking.

Ms. A sent me an email titled, "When Cakes Go Wrong" with a link to Cake Wrecks . . . be sure to check out the Fireman Cake and read the story that goes along with it. I literally almost peed my pants I was laughing so hard.

I really want to do some canning this fall.

We watched "No Country for Old Men" last weekend. Holy crap. It was one of those movies that was good but I never want to see again.
